Daniel J. Sullivan is a Senior Associate Attorney at Beacon LLP. Daniel assists clients with basic and advanced estate, gift, and income tax planning arising in the areas of wealth succession, and business and charitable planning.

As a registered property tax agent, he has successfully represented clients in various complex property tax assessment appeals before Los Angeles, Riverside, and Orange Counties Assessment Appeals Boards.

Daniel graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University, cum laude. He also received his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law followed by his LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law where he graduated top of his class.

Prior to joining Beacon LLP, Daniel worked at well-known firms in Pasadena, where we worked alongside Steve and Erica. He also worked at a boutique estate planning firm in Irvine where he focused his practice on advanced estate planning for high-net-worth individuals.

Daniel has been recognized by his peers in Best Lawyers of America© 2025 as a “Ones to Watch” lawyer in America for Tax Law, Trusts and Estates.

In addition to his commitments as an attorney, Daniel is active in his community.  He is a board member of Foothill Family – a nonprofit organization headquartered in Pasadena impacting communities across Greater Los Angeles. Foothill Family provides comprehensive mental health care, early childhood development programs, and social services aimed at improving infant, child, youth, and family development.
